| FREE THIS TREE! |
F R E E T H I S T R E E !
It was early morning. I had come to town for
my grandson's high school graduation the day before.
The morning invited me to take a walk before breakfast.
At the bottom of the hill to my right, I saw the tree.
I stared up and down at the tree and the one next to it.
The contrast was remarkable!
All the way to the top, the foliage covering the trunk did not belong on that tree!
Something foreign had
grown up on it and had taken over!
Circling the tree trunk, I looked for the usurper.
There it was. Quickly, I went back to the motel room, grabbed
my camera, and returned to the tree.
As I took pictures, Scripture verses began to flood my memory.
And He began to teach and say to them, "Is it not written, '
MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL THE NATIONS'?
BUT YOU HAVE MADE IT A ROBBERS' DEN."
(Mark 11:17)
"Search me, O God, and see if there be any wicked way in me."
But He answered and said,
" Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant shall be uprooted."
(Matthew 15:13)
It is obvious to any serious reader of the Bible, that the
present-day church in the West, and particularly in the
USA, cannot be the one which Jesus Christ described in
Matthew 16:18 when He said,
"I shall build My church, and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it."
Let us look again at the tree, so completely overgrown by
the vine which used the tree's structure to make for itself
an appearance of strength and life. Actually, as the vine
climbed the tree, it has clung, and stolen the life which
should have belonged to the tree.
The same perverse vine has taken over the framework of the
nation's social and political life.
There is now one last chance to save America for the sake of
our children and grandchildren.
We now must cut down the usurping vine, remove the roots,
and pull away from the tree - our Constitutional Republic -
every vestige of the lies that have choked out the life
and liberty our American forefathers once knew.
Let us seek the strength of Our God as we cleanse ourselves
and the nation.
HIS KINGDOM COME, HIS WILL BE DONE,
