We need to turn on the LIGHT!
It was still dark outside, with barely enough light in the room to safely go from one door to another. She stood by her night table. As she reached down for a tissue, her hand upset the water glass on the table's edge. She had forgotten it was there, and had not seen it in the darkness.
Turning on the table lamp she thought, "I should have done this in the first place!" Quickly getting a cloth she wiped up the water. Thankful that the water was clean, and only needed to be absorbed into a clean cloth, she applied pressure to the wet bedding, then to the spots on the carpet.
"If only I had FIRST TURNED ON THE LIGHT, I wouldn't have made this mess!
But thank God that it wasn't fruit juice, coffee, tea or cocoa."
Another blessing of drinking clean water . . .
She smiled, shaking her head.
Then she remembered --

When we are walking in
the light of God's Word,
and seeking His Presence,
lies and deception are revealed
like shadows in a darkened room.
They must flee when exposed to
the love and truth of God
which exist only in
Jesus Christ.
