"Watchmen: 

Secure the Gates of Your City"

On a recent morning, I was in prayer during the 3rd watch, when I heard the Lord say, "Time to take some ground back, secure new ground, and spy out new territories. As you go into this month of September it is important that you watch all illegal entry. For I am speaking to the gatekeepers to secure the gates of your cities.

"Watchmen, stand at your post and be prepared at all times, because this will be a time to recover, hold, and obtain things that have been lost or held up. For I will open ways that have been hidden up to now, and there will be a short window of time that you will be able to recover. For My gates are before you and I will open before you a new way.

"I'm releasing wisdom on how you need to move forth and how you need to obtain the things that I am preparing for you. Gates will be significant in this season as major decisions and even orders will be established in this hour. Even as men prepare to plot and move to make their plans manifest, I too am on the move - moving forward to lay hold and secure that which is Mine. For many matters are about to pass through the gates of time and opportunity. For in this time, some gates will be broken to never be restored and others will be provided to cross over in this land.

New Boundaries and Entryways

"I am establishing new boundaries and providing entryways. Some gates will represent new orders and regimes, some for good and others for evil. Even when some will think their gates are secure they will find chaos and confusion at them. When they thought they would have the advantage they will discover uncertainty, for I am shaking the gates of men and solidifying the foundation of the Kingdom of God.

"So watch those who will stand at the gates for they will determine the fate of some regions. For they will represent the change that is about to occur in the land and My people. And although things may appear to be trouble at first, I will overturn that which was set by the enemy, and accomplish what I am about to do. For while you are looking at all that is going on before you, watch Me and you will see My glory appear in the midst of troubling circumstances.

"My glory will bring great light. In the light all things that have been covered will be revealed and those who have worked in the dark will be unveiled. And many will look back and see what the enemy tried to destroy and set upon to defeat him. So watch, wait and pray, for I will allow My anointed ones to gain entry and plunder the works of darkness. Look, for in it is a short window of time."

"Pray Down the Heaven's Upon the Gates..."

The Lord told that this was His strategy to His people found in Isaiah 64:1. He said, "Tell My people to pray down the heavens upon the gates of their cities, their circumstances, and their family area of struggles. I will make the mountains bow before My presence and your hindrances shall be removed. But I am requiring your diligence, your commitment, and your life to align with the life I have for you, because it is better. No more gray areas or areas of compromise, for I am coming down upon you to breathe new life and purpose in Me.

"Light shall overcome the darkness. I command to the gatekeepers that My light will unveil the lies and the strategies of men. In this short window of time you will see provision come not to fill our coffers, but that the Kingdom work may be strengthened and established in this hour. Favor shall be upon My people even at their doors."

Gatekeepers - cover the gates of your cities with prayer. It's time to call down the heavens upon the gates.

Isaiah 64:1-2, "Oh that Thou wouldest rend the heavens, that Thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at Thy presence, as when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make Thy name known to Thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Thy presence!"

Isaiah 45:1-3, "Thus saith the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before Him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel."
